At Teatro Clitunno in Trevi, from October 9 to November 8, the eighth edition of the theatre festival Sipario d'Ottobre - Ray Lovelock Award takes place under the artistic direction of Graziano Sirci. The program features an amateur theatre lineup with five performances staged by companies from various Italian regions, ranging from social dramas and witty comedies to literary classics. The event hosts productions such as The Elephant Man by Compagnia Giardini dell'Arte, InVIOLAtA by Compagnia SenzaConfine, Come due angeli sul cornicione, c'eravamo troppo amati by Compagnia di Lizzana, and La regola dei terzi by Compagnia dell'Eclissi. The festival concludes with the awards ceremony featuring the special guest appearance of actor Kaspar Capparoni as guest of honor and the staging of Madame Bovary by Compagnia Baroni Rampanti. The initiative serves as a cultural benchmark for promoting contemporary and classical theatre, offering audiences moments of artistic sharing and celebrating the talent of the participating companies.
