For three days the Cliff's Town is returning to be the national and international capital of photography: from the 10^th to the 12^th of March the appointment with "Orvieto Photography", the International Festival of Photography, Video and Visual Communication, Convention organized by FIOF (2017 International Fund for Photography) is getting renewed. 

"It's time. This is the moment!!!" is the title chosen for the 2017 edition that, one more time, is going to transform the town in a place of meeting and exchange for artists, photographers, experts but also enthusiasts and visitors, students, technical institutes and fine arts academies: anyone who is interested in the video-production and the communication sector in the broadest sense of the word.

The schedule includes several initiatives (workshops, guided exhibitions, seminars, conferences, film screenings, portfolio reviews, activities for young people and shows), five exhibition strands (big and collective shows in the town's historic spots and commercial locations; installations and exhibitions,  exhibitions of young authors and contemporary art) and prestigious competitions (DV Movie Awards, Free Movie Awards, Reportage Movie Awards, Video Art Awards, Wedding Movie Awards and the attribution of the FIOF most-sought professional qualifications to photographers); everything accompanied by special guests, such as Andreas Bitesnich, Austrian photographer and musician, Katharina Jung, young experimenter who discovered photography in 2012, the war photoreporter Riccardo Venturi and the DDiarte group.

During this weekend the splendid Orvieto's historical center is going to become an energetic crossroads of stimuli, ideas, meetings, exchanges and projects.
