Orvieto Festival of Strings
The “Orvieto Strings Festival”, the festival devoted to the classical music, is taking place from the 7th to the 17th August in the fascinating Cliff’s Town.
The big music, from Bach to Beethoven, from Haydn to Schubert, through Mozart, Debussy and Vivaldi, is waiting for you with a series of concerts, all with free admission, in the Church of St. Giovenale and in the Dome.

Monday 7th August - 9.30 pm - Church of St. Agostino
Piano Recital
Andreai Licaret (piano) performs pieces of Johann Sebastian Bach
Wednesday 9th August - 9.
Chamber Music
Quartet of the Orvieto Festival of Strings will play pieces of Haydn, Beethoven, Turina
Friday 11th August - 9.30 pm - Church of St. Agostino
Flute Recital
Fred Geiersbach (flute), Marco Grisanti (piano), David Agia (cello) will perform music by Enesco, Pulenc, Weber
Saturday 12th August - 9.30 pm - Church of St. Agostino
Recital of Chamber Music
Compositions by Schubert, Beethoven, Mozart, Debussy will be performed.
Monday 14th August - 9.30 pm - Church of St. Agostino
Concert “Violoncellissimo Eventi”
Pieces by Bach, Popper, Saint-Saens, Boccherini will be proposed
Tuesday 15th August – 9.30 pm - Orvieto Dome
