Orvieto hosts ONE – Orvieto Summer Nights from 2 July to 2 August, a cultural event now in its eighth edition, featuring a programme dedicated to cinema, music, literature and performing arts.

The festival takes place at the Giardino dei Lettori of the Luigi Fumi Library and includes a film programme with twenty-one screenings, accompanied by meetings with directors, actors and professionals from the world of cinema. The schedule features encounters with artists including Alba Rohrwacher, Michela Andreozzi, Simone Manetti, Renato De Maria, Karen Di Porto, Anna Di Francisca, Dario D’Ambrosi and Guido Chiesa, as well as the screening of Cristiano Castaldi’s documentary “Passato remoto – Racconti di vita contadina”.

The programme also includes Sinapsi, the music section with three concerts on the stage of Piazza del Popolo from 31 July to 2 August, featuring Pietra Magoni & Arkè String Quartet, Danilo Rea, Maurizio Martusciello alias Martux_M and a tribute to Frank Zappa by I Virtuosi dal Pianeta Talento. The concerts are preceded by Festival al Bar, musical events with an aperitif at Caffè Montanucci.

The festival also features Il Salotto Buono, dedicated to books and cultural discussions, Festival in Bottega, lunchtime meetings, and Sensi di notte, an evening event combining music, art and wellbeing.
