Many appointments in the museums of the circuit "Umbrian Lands & Museums" all over the holidays: "Made in Christmas" is coming back from 17 December 2016 to 8 January 2017, with a calendar rich of Christmas events for adults and kids, among concerts, laboratories, conferences, tastings and guided visits.

The festival's locations will be the towns of Amelia, Bettona, Bevagna, Cannara, Deruta, Marsciano, Montefalco, Montone, Spello, Trevi and Umbertide with several appointments divided in three thematic areas: "The kids' Christmas" with creative laboratories; "Music for eyes" with art and music spread in the exhibiting halls and "Artworks' tales" to admire the masterpieces with thematic visits.

It's a unique occasion to discover once again the museums as meeting point but from the unusual perspective of celebrations.

Rocca di Passignano

The Fortress of Passignano rises within the village, slightly raised above the town that developed later along the lake shore. Passignano means literally “Place of the Step”. That probably refers to the existence of a Roman military structure that controlled the famous “Step”, a connecting road between the North and South of the peninsula.
