Perugia hosts the tenth edition of KUM! Festival from October 23 to 25, conceived and directed by Massimo Recalcati. For the first time, the festival takes place in the Umbrian capital, continuing its commitment to exploring themes related to care, health and contemporary social change.

The theme of the 2026 edition is “The Temptation of Violence.” Through talks, discussions and public conversations, the festival reflects on the different forms of violence in contemporary society and on the role of dialogue, listening and mediation in both individual and collective relationships.

Since its inception, KUM! has brought together scholars, professionals and cultural figures from a wide range of fields, creating opportunities for exchange between different disciplines and perspectives. Over the years, it has become a significant event in Italy’s cultural landscape, dedicated to reflection on care and coexistence.
