In Todi, from 9 to 16 August, Tennis Club Todi 1971 hosts the 18th edition of the Todi International Tennis Tournament, an ATP Challenger 75 event played on the club’s historic clay courts. Over the years, the tournament has welcomed players including Paolo Lorenzi, Filippo Volandri, Carlos Alcaraz and Luciano Darderi, winner of the 2023 edition. The draw features a strong Italian presence led by former world number 60 Stefano Travaglia, Marco Cecchinato and Umbrian player Francesco Passaro, recently returned after a wrist injury. Among the younger competitors is Jacopo Vasamì, born in 2007 and regarded as one of Italy’s emerging tennis prospects. International players will also take part in eight days of matches dedicated to professional tennis and the next generation of the Challenger circuit.
