Festival della Sociologia 2026
In Narni, on 9 and 10 October, the Festival of Sociology returns for its eleventh edition under the theme "An Environment to Inhabit. Spaces, Lives and Rights". The event offers an opportunity to reflect on the changing relationship between people, places and communities, with a focus on housing, the environment and rights.
Through contributions from scholars, professionals and practitioners, the Festival addresses issues that shape everyday life and the quality of living together, bringing together research, public policies and sociological perspectives. Topics discussed include the right to housing, urban regeneration, sustainable mobility, environmental justice, social inequalities, active ageing and forms of citizen participation.
The programme provides a space for discussion and insight into contemporary transformations, encouraging reflection on the ways in which we build, inhabit and share the spaces in which we live.
