From 18 July to 10 October, Bevagna, Campello sul Clitunno, Castel Ritaldi, Giano dell’Umbria, Gualdo Cattaneo, Massa Martana, Montefalco and Trevi host the Festival del Sol – Sagrantino & Oil Land, featuring the travelling project San Francesco nelle Terre dell’Olio e del Sagrantino.

The programme includes sixteen free walks, two in each municipality, exploring the connection between Saint Francis of Assisi and the local area. The routes lead participants to lesser-known places associated with the saint, combining walking, landscapes, history, storytelling and Franciscan spirituality.

The events are designed for families with children aged 5 to 10 and for adults, including walkers and hiking enthusiasts. The programme begins in Trevi on 18 and 19 July with two routes through the olive groves and along a section of the Via di Francesco, before continuing in the other villages until 10 October.

Participation is free, but booking is required while places are available.
