The Festa delle Acque 2026 will take place at Lake Piediluco, in Terni, on 25–26-31 July and 1-2 August, with a wide range of initiatives.

The ancient festival, which once saw local fishermen decorating their boats and people dancing to welcome the start of the summer season, will focus on themes such as tradition and innovation, music and sport, urban life and mountain trails, and rituals.

Today, a contemporary twist is added: village dances become live concerts and DJ sets, decorated boats turn into allegorical vessels, strolls through the town become hiking and trekking, and home cooking is transformed into street food.
