From 19 to 27 September, Panicarola (Castiglione del Lago) hosts the Festa della Madonna del Busso, an event combining tradition, religious celebrations, local food and entertainment. Food stands will be open throughout the festival, serving dishes from Umbrian cuisine and lamb specialities. The programme brings together religious celebrations, sporting activities, community gatherings and events dedicated to local culture and traditions. Evenings feature music and dancing, with ballroom dancing on the main stage and musical entertainment in the Pub area. Briscola card tournaments and table football competitions are also scheduled every evening. The festival ends on Sunday 27 September with the traditional “I fochi della Madonna del Busso” fireworks display, marking the conclusion of the programme in Panicarola.
