Discesa Internazionale del Tevere 2026
In Pretola, in the municipality of Perugia, from April 24 to 27, the International Tiber Descent hosts an initiative dedicated to observing biodiversity, involving citizens and researchers in collecting data useful for scientific research. The focus is the #teveremolluschi fantastici… e dove trovarli citizen science project, coordinated by ISPRA, which aims to map freshwater mollusks along the river and promote knowledge of the river ecosystem.
Activities take place along the Tiber with the support of Studio Naturalistico Hyla and the AICAN association. On Monday, April 27, a free public event will be held: in Pretola, experts from the Museo Malakos and the Ecomuseo del Tevere will guide participants along the riverbed to observe and document species, which will then be identified.
Meeting point at 9:45 a.m. at the “La Renaccia” sports field.
