From October 29 to November 1, the municipality of Costacciaro hosts Costacciaro 2026 - Raduno Internazionale di Speleologia, an event entirely dedicated to the exploration and knowledge of the underground world. This edition revolves around five thematic elements—air, water, earth, fire, and void—chosen as guiding threads to present speleology in all its dimensions: from subterranean airflows to the action of water shaping cavities, from rock geology to research, up to the unexplored spaces yet to be discovered. The program features a schedule of conferences, in-depth meetings, and technical workshops, alongside thematic exhibitions, screenings, and field explorations designed for both industry professionals and enthusiasts or visitors. Alongside scientific and educational activities, the event offers moments of socializing and entertainment thanks to the Speleobar, a refreshment area where visitors can taste beers and traditional dishes from various Italian regions, as well as a lineup of evening shows accompanying the days of the gathering.
