Assisi hosts on Friday 29 May 2026 the twenty-fourth edition of "Con il Cuore, nel nome di Francesco" (With the Heart, in the Name of Francis), the solidarity marathon organised by the friars of the Sacro Convento di San Francesco. The charity concert will be broadcast live on Rai1 in prime time from the upper square of the Basilica of San Francesco, hosted by Carlo Conti.

The initiative is part of a broader fundraising campaign running from 25 May to 30 June 2026. During this period, it will be possible to support the Franciscan missions active in Italy and around the world through the solidarity number 45515.

Attendance at the 29 May event is free of charge. Places on the lawn of the Basilica square can be reserved from the morning of Tuesday, 12 May 2026. All participants are invited to support the aims of the marathon with a free donation in favour of the humanitarian projects promoted through the campaign.
