Travelling Cinema Festival in Perugia
In Perugia, from 20 August to 11 September, the summer programme Serestate presents a travelling cinema festival in different areas of the city, with free open-air film screenings. The programme begins on 20 August at Parco Aretino in the Pallotta neighbourhood with Sing Street, followed by Music Box on 27 August and Mar Nero on 3 September. On 28 August, Piazzetta Rina Gatti will host Carlo Verdone’s Un sacco bello. On 6 September, the screening moves to Pila, at Parco dell’Arringatore, with The Incredibles. On 10 September, Parco del Tevere in Ponte Valleceppi will host Alan J. Pakula’s All the President’s Men, while on 11 September the green area on Via Gregorovius in Ferro di Cavallo will screen Edoardo Winspeare’s La vita in comune. The festival brings cinema to different neighbourhoods and green spaces across the city, presenting films from different genres and periods in open-air settings. All screenings begin at 9 or 9.15 pm and are free of charge while seats are available.
