Adventure Weekend on a Quad Bike
A weekend of adventure in Umbria with a 2-night stay in a 3* Hotel / Agriturismo with breakfast included, a welcome dinner in a restaurant selected for its perfect representation of the culinary traditions of our region, to savour gastronomic delights paired with wines from our wine cellars, and an adrenalin-pumping experience in the midst of the greenery: a guided quad bike excursion in Monte Subasio with a pleasant stop for an aperitif included.

BOOKING MODALITIES:
Request confirmation of availability of services and payment of a deposit equal to 30% of the total amount of the package upon confirmation and payment of the remaining balance 25 days prior to arrival. For bookings made during the 25 days prior to arrival, you will be asked to pay the full amount of the package upon confirmation.
What is included
- 2 nights’ accommodation in a farmhouse / 3* hotel (between Foligno and Perugia, subject to availability at the time of confirmation);
- Accommodation in a twin or double room with breakfast included;
- A sumptuous welcome dinner at a restaurant selected by us – drinks included;
- ‘Quad Adventure’ excursion lasting approximately 2 hours, with an aperitif in the woods;
- Experienced instructor – 1 quad bike for every 2 people (a Category B driving licence is required to drive the quad bike);
- CONI registration / membership fee;

Welcome! Arrival in Umbria scheduled after lunch and accommodation in a 3* agriturismo / hotel between Foligno and Perugia, subject to availability at the time of confirmation. In the afternoon, we suggest a free visit to Assisi, one of the most fascinating and famous areas of Umbria.
Pax et Bonum! This is the greeting with which Assisi welcomes you, a Franciscan place par excellence, not only in Umbria and Italy, but throughout the world. St Francis was in fact born in Assisi in 1182; in the place where it is believed his birthplace was located, today stands the Chiesa Nuova. It is in Assisi that he was baptised, in the Cathedral of San Rufino, it is among its alleys that he spent his youth dreaming of a future as a valiant knight, it is here, where the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore stands today, in the Piazza del Vescovado, that he stripped himself, repudiating earthly goods for love of God and his brothers and sisters. It is still in Assisi, in the Church of San Damiano, that praying before the crucifix, he receives the task of renewing the Church of Christ, it is in the town square that he begins his preaching and his work of charity and peace, and it is finally here that he dies in 1226. His remains are preserved in the Basilica of St Francis, but the saint still lives on in every stone of Assisi. Walk through its enchanting alleys and free visit to the Franciscan sites.

After dinner, return to accommodation and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the farmhouse / 3* hotel. This morning, we suggest you explore Lake Trasimeno – the largest lake in central Italy – at your leisure. Whilst at Lake Trasimeno, we recommend visiting Castiglione del Lago and taking a stroll along the lakeside promenade in Passignano sul Trasimeno. Lunch at your leisure (this can be added later for an extra charge).
In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a brilliant adventure exploring the Umbrian countryside, driving over all sorts of terrain: mud, stones, water – a quad bike couldn’t ask for anything better! Riding a quad bike is a truly incredible experience, and few can resist the temptation to do it again once they’ve tried it. Its versatility, combined with the comfort of being able to ride with a passenger, makes it a fun way to get around. No special driving skills are required: after the first few metres, you’ll be able to ride with confidence and won’t want to get off! Accompanied by our guide, following an easy nature trail and surrounded by greenery, you’ll discover the marvellous landscapes of the Umbrian countryside and also enjoy a stop in the woods, in the heart of nature, for a delicious aperitif (included).
After the excursion, lasting approximately two (2) hours, you’ll return to your accommodation, have dinner at your leisure and spend the night there.
Breakfast at the hotel or farmhouse; check-out; and before heading home, we suggest you visit the capital of Umbria, Perugia: this city still bears the hallmarks of its history, as evidenced by its vast cultural, architectural and artistic heritage.
The countless stories of Perugia and its inhabitants, its streets, its views and its buildings have left their mark on the streets of the historic centre and in the works of art that adorn its museums, from the Etruscans and Romans right through to the masters of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Perugia is the capital of Umbria, embodying many cities in one, all fascinating and all steeped in history. Among the many monuments, incredible works of art, Etruscan ruins and the lush countryside, Perugia’s quintessential symbol is probably the Fontana Maggiore with its marble basins decorated with carved bas-reliefs. Then there is the Etruscan Arch, a massive gateway to ancient Perusia built of travertine blocks. Other buildings worth admiring include the Palazzo dei Priori (now the Town Hall), the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo or Palazzo di Giustizia, the Palazzo della Vecchia Università, the Palazzo degli Oddi Marini Clarelli, the Palazzo Sorbello, the Palazzo della Penna, and the Rocca Paolina. Perugia is renowned in the art world as the centre of the Umbrian School of Painting in the 15th and 16th centuries, and its leading figures, Pietro Vannucci (known as Perugino) and Bernardino Betti (known as Pinturicchio), worked here. The young Raphael worked in Perugino’s studio until 1504. You will find works by all three in the churches and public buildings of Perugia.
