1 horse-riding excursion – Castle Trail – Duration 4–5 hours: Visit to Speltara Castle, an ancient, abandoned square-plan manor with a unique, tall corner tower, surrounded by sturdy walls; the earliest records date back to the 13th century. Visit to the 14th-century Castle of San Terenziano, the residence of the Dukes of Cesi during the Renaissance. Visit to Barattano Castle, an authentic 13th-century manor. Visit to the 11th-century Castle of Grutti, whose walls were built by the Ghibellines.

Times: Morning departure at 08.00, returning around 12.00 – Afternoon departure at 15.00, returning around 19.00.

This ride is suitable for both experienced and less experienced riders. A minimum level of fitness is required for each ride, which will be assessed at the riding school.

Minimum age 14 years; minors must be accompanied by a guardian and wear a riding helmet.

Between 4 and 6 horses are available, depending on the riders’ experience.
