For those who wish to discover them, Fattoria ColSanto organises the 'Tour among the vineyards and olive groves': a magical immersion between visits to vineyards with unforgettable views, tastings in the cellars where the barriques rest and excursions among the expanses of Umbrian olive trees.

Fattoria ColSanto was acquired in 2001 by the Livon family and is located in the DOCG area of Montefalco in the municipality of Bevagna in the heart of Umbria. The property has an extension of 20 hectares of vineyards with 7500 plants per hectare of Sagrantino, Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Merlot grapes, vineyards that surround the historic farmhouse dating back to the 1700's. Guests are provided with a splendid structure in which 5 elegant rooms have been created.


Fattoria ColSanto is located in an enchanting setting of vineyards, olive groves and ancient wine cellars. Fascinating itineraries, far from the usual destinations of mass tourism.
Productive process

UMBRIA I.G.T. ROSSO – RURIS

Made from a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot, this wine is the most supple of the Colsanto reds. The soft tannins of the Merlot, the malolactic fermentation and the partial maturation in small wood give it character and personality. Ruris is a round, full-bodied sip.

Cantaluce IGT Umbria

Ancient, authentically Umbrian, rediscovered only twenty years ago, Trebbiano spoletino Cantaluce IGT Umbria is very different from other Trebbiano wines, thanks to its late maturation and marked acidity. Fattoria Colsanto chooses to vinify it in large casks and barriques, leaving it to rest on the lees for about 8 months and to age it for at least 2 years after bottling. Structure and complexity, therefore, with evolved notes of white flowers, honey and ripe tropical flowers. Ideal with truffles.
