Agritourism in Umbria (or agrotourism) is not just rural hospitality in the countryside, but rather an activity that presents organic farming, its products, animal husbandry and the encounter that takes place with nature and the surrounding area. The farmhouse, once used by farmers, has been converted into an agritourism with six rustic flats, a delightful organic restaurant, a swimming pool suitable for children and two hectares of land where organic vegetables are grown and animals are bred. The structure overlooks the entire valley of the Niccone stream and the panorama opens up over the hilly landscape, the cultivated valley and the ruins of two old castles in the distance. The organic restaurant is committed to preparing dishes with organic products from our land and regional agriculture. What we grow and breed we transform into fresh, home-made dishes, served at your table and accompanied by excellent Umbrian wine. Season after season we continue the main work, which is to produce from the land, by having guests participate in the grape harvest, the cultivation of the vegetable garden, the olive harvest and the care of the animals. All this is done so that you can more authentically experience the simplicity of rural life. We organise cooking courses in Umbria for all those who love this wonderful art. In addition, the farmhouse is suitable for children, who can have fun cultivating the vegetable garden and playing with the animals on our educational farm in Umbria.
