The History of Relais La Fornace | PRIVATE SPA

This place, called La Fornace, was the centre of local craftsmanship, a symbol of tradition. The local people worked the material with passion and skill, creating products that enriched the Umbrian territory, including tobacco and ceramics. With time, production ceased and the old furnace was abandoned. However, this historic building has been given new life through careful restoration. Today, La Fornace has become an elegant Relais & Spa, ready to welcome guests in search of relaxation and tranquillity, immersed in the beauty of the Umbrian hills.
