In 1957, the Pensione Aurora was born at the same time as the famous Festival dei Due Mondi created by Maestro Menotti, which brought famous artists, musicians, writers, painters, sculptors, scientists, aristocrats and politicians to Spoleto. Many of these were guests of the Hotel Aurora also because of its privileged position in the historic centre and close to the theatres.
