Dettaglio accomodation
A hamlet, Gabbio, totally abandoned and uninhabited since the early 1900s. The only inhabitants now...only the members of the Runcini family: Pier, Doda & little Federica Aion. The long and arduous restoration was completed in 2011, after about thirty years of dedication, work and love. An immense work of restoration by Pierfederico Runcini, architect, who has dedicated part of his life to it.All the cottages are located in different buildings, as in an 'Albergo diffuso'. All the rooms in the Guesthouse Runcini are housed in stone houses. Furnished in the Umbrian tradition, some have exposed beams and terracotta floors. Some flats have cosy, romantic fireplaces, where guests can enjoy the tranquillity and silence of the hamlet. They have been renovated using earthquake-proof techniques, while retaining the warmth and historicity that have characterised them over the centuries. Each space has different and sought-after objects that make guests feel at home. The terraced gardens are surrounded by olive trees and at the same time are equipped with tables and chairs to allow you to relax and admire the splendid view of the valley.High-speed WiFi is free in the rooms and gardens.Guesthouse Runcini is classified as a Bed and Breakfast and as a Guesthouse.
