From July 22 to 27, Lake Trasimeno will once again resonate with the deep, soulful notes of Blues music, in its most authentic form and through its many stylistic variations. The new edition of Trasimeno Blues continues the festival’s traveling format, bringing music to historic centers and some of the most evocative natural spots of the area, engaging both international and local artists in an ongoing dialogue between cultures and expressive languages.

Throughout the event, there will be concerts, book presentations, readings and jam sessions, blending sounds and words in a meeting of tradition and innovation, deep roots and fresh experimentation.

The festival will kick off on July 22 in Spina (Marsciano): at 6:30 p.m. in Via del Tempio with Manara Blues, followed at 9:30 p.m. in Piazza dello Statuto by Chris Bergson & Ellis Hooks Band. On July 25, the event moves to Castiglione del Lago, with John Nemeth & The Blue Dreamers performing at the Medieval Fortress. Later that evening, at 11:30 p.m., Falou Seck & The Melting Beats will take the stage at Darsena Disco Club with their afro-funk sound. On July 26, again in Castiglione del Lago, the D.K. Harrell Blues Band will perform at 9:30 p.m. at the fortress.
