The entire property is at the guests' disposal. The first floor boasts a generously sized drawing room, dining room and kitchen. The spacious tavern is adorned with an antique fireplace. A TV zone is available for those who wish to unwind next to a bar area and a games table. The 13th century tower of Paciano overlooks our "antico giardino pensile", a big terraced garden, which you can access through the tavern. It is fully equpied with outdoors furnitures (table, chairs, benches, barbecue). Here you can spend pleasent and relaxing time outside and have wonderful views on the Umbrian country side especially at sunset (even in winter!).
Being part of the medieval walls of the village, you can walk out of our main door and just wonder around Paciano, it's churches and towers. In the village is a Bar, a butcher, a grocery, a pharmacy and resturants. In alternative you can walk out of the Relais and be outdoors in the surroundind oak woods up to the top of Monte Pausillo were there is a stunning view up to Tuscany and Monte Pulciano.
Paciano, which is among the "Borghi più belli d'Italia" (Italy's Leading Medieval Villages www.borghitalia.it) preserves its medieval origins whilst being surrounded by breathtaking olive groves and lush woods, dotted by walnut trees and oak trees. The location is fully immersed in the rolling hills running alongside the Trasimeno Lake, occupying a strategic position which affords easy access to the main Umbrian cities of artistic heritage bordering with Tuscany, such as Panicale, Perugia, Città della Pieve, Cortona, Montepulciano, Siena.
