From the 14th to the 16th July, the Festival of the Gubbio’s Boards will narrate the fabulous events of Umbrians, the most ancient Italic population: three days of conferences, shows, guided visits and tastings to know in depth the seven bronze boards that are “the most important ritual text of the classical age” that reached the present day.

A series of initiatives in the footsteps of the Ancient Umbrians: from the guided visits to the Civic Museum of the Consuls Palace, where the seven Boards are preserved, to the tastings of “Taste the History”, with dishes inspired by the ritual food described in the Boards, until the show “Ancient Voices”, organized by the theatre company “the Theatre of fame” and by the Dance School “Gubbio Town”, in the suggestive setting of the St. Peter Cloister.

There will also be public meetings with glottologists, archaeologists and journalists to explore the issues and the intriguing aspects of a history that never ceases to surprise.
