The Palio de San Michele will take place in Bastia Umbra from September 19 to 29.

During these days, the town becomes an open-air theatre filled with performances, games, tradition, and gastronomy.

The Palio brings together art, culture, sport, and conviviality in a shared project that comes to life through Parades, Games, the Lizza, and Taverns. The protagonists are the four districts – Moncioveta, Portella, San Rocco, and Sant’Angelo – guardians of the town’s identity and sense of belonging.

The Parades are the heart of the festival: grand stage sets, light effects, music, poetry, and acting transform the square into a unique spectacle, blending memory and modernity.

And of course, the district taverns: Bastia Umbra turns into a great open-air inn, where every evening visitors can enjoy typical Umbrian dishes and new specialties in a warm and festive atmosphere.
