From 20 to 25 October 2025 in Perugia, the Umbria Danza Festival Kids returns, a programme designed to bring younger audiences closer to the language of theatre and contemporary dance. The event presents a selection of Italian productions that have received national awards and recognition, with school matinées dedicated to local pupils alongside afternoon and evening performances open to families and the general public.

Morning shows will involve nursery schools (ages 2–5) with the piece D’un tratto, scheduled for 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 October at 9:30 am. On 22 October, at the Teatro Pavone, the play AiAiAi Pinocchio! will be staged, aimed at children aged 8 and over and winner of the 2024 Bugs – Multidisciplinary Habitats for Youth Theatre award. The week will conclude on Saturday 25 October at 9:00 pm, again at the Teatro Pavone, with Nodo Primo, an evening performance marking the festival’s closing event.
