In Castiglione del Lago, from 20 to 23 August, Trasimeno Prog Festival returns, an event dedicated to progressive music, rock, jazz and blues, with four evenings scheduled at the Medieval Fortress.

The festival programme includes tributes, themed concerts and live projects. It opens on Thursday 20 August with Pink Floyd Night, featuring Drunk Side Plays “Wish You Were Here” and a selection from “The Dark Side of the Moon”, together with RanestRane and “The Wall – Il cineconcerto”.

Friday 21 August will be dedicated to Le Orme Trilogy Live, with “Collage”, “Uomo di pezza” and “Felona e Sorona”, special guest Bernardo Lanzetti and opening act Known Physics. On Saturday 22 August, La Notte del Prog Italiano will take place, featuring the International Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Leonardo Quadrini and La Cruna del Lago & Friends.

On Sunday 23 August, the festival closes with an evening of prog, jazz, rock and blues, featuring Agorà and Tony Esposito. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., while the evenings generally start at 9:00 p.m.

A drink point will be available inside the festival area, and tickets may also be purchased on site on the evenings of the shows. Piazza Gramsci will also host the sixth edition of the Record Fair, dedicated to vinyl and CD enthusiasts.
