In Marcellano (Gualdo Cattaneo), from 26 June to 5 July, Marcellano VinCanta returns with an event dedicated to wine, Umbrian cuisine and the discovery of this medieval village, a hamlet of Gualdo Cattaneo. The programme takes place over seven evenings, on 26, 27 and 28 June and on 2, 3, 4 and 5 July, among alleys, arches and panoramic views.

At the heart of the event is the food and wine trail through the historic centre, with tastings of local wines, including Montefalco Rosso and Sagrantino DOCG, paired with traditional Umbrian dishes. The programme also includes the Dessert Corner, dedicated to regional sweets and Sagrantino passito.

The evenings are accompanied by live music, with groups and bands performing throughout the village. VinCanta is also an opportunity to visit the surrounding area, from the castles of Speltara and Simigni to Rocca Sonora, also known as Rocca dei Borgia.
