In Costacciaro, from 28 to 30 August, “Invito a Palazzo” returns with a historical re-enactment devoted to the 15th century and the meeting between Federico da Montefeltro, Cardinal Bessarion and Ottaviano Ubaldini. The ninth edition takes inspiration from the events of 1464 and offers three days dedicated to the history of the village. The programme opens on Friday with a historical talk, a parade with local drummers and a performance at the Rivellino. On Saturday, the historic centre hosts a medieval market, music, games, traditional crafts, visits to ancient parchments and a medieval dinner at Palazzo Ducale. On Sunday, activities continue with the market, workshops, an archers’ camp, archery sessions and a historical procession through the streets.
