On November 7th and 8th, the city of Gubbio hosts the Gubbio Spartan Weekend, a major obstacle course racing event that animates the Umbrian town with dynamic and engaging competition. The races take place on a mixed course, blending urban streets and natural trails to offer participants a varied and stimulating racing experience. The event features the Trifecta Weekend formula, allowing athletes to complete three main distances in a single weekend: the Sprint (5 km), the Super (10 km), and the Beast (21 km), the latter also valid for the FIPM Italian Championship. One of the most striking moments takes place at the finish line, located inside the Parco del Teatro Romano, where athletes tackle the final obstacles against the backdrop of the ancient amphitheater. The event is designed for everyone, thanks to the Kids Race dedicated to children and the Hurricane Heat endurance challenge. Enriching the program is the Spartan Festival, a celebration and gathering space featuring exhibition areas, refreshment points, and award ceremonies.
