Frantotipico 2026

In Colle del Marchese, in the municipality of Castel Ritaldi, the weekend of October 24 and 25 hosts Frantotipico, an event dedicated to freshly pressed olive oil and rural traditions. The event allows visitors to explore local agricultural work and traditional Umbrian foods firsthand. Activities begin in the village square with regional dishes and shared meals, alongside guided walks through olive groves, truffle-hunting demonstrations, and open-air painting. A shuttle connects the town to local olive mills, allowing guests to observe pressing operations, take part in guided tastings and panel tests, and attend short educational sessions on the nutritional value of extra virgin olive oil. Several hands-on workshops are designed for children and families, including olive picking, traditional soap-making, and cooking sessions. The village streets also host local craft stalls, vintage motorcycle displays, and live acoustic music performances to accompany the tastings.
