Perugia, Castel Rigone (Passignano sul Trasimeno) and Monte del Lago (Magione) host the Festival delle Corrispondenze from August 29 to September 6, an event dedicated to writing, letters and dialogue through words. The programme includes a preview on August 29 and 30, followed by a series of meetings and events from September 1 to 6 in locations around Lake Trasimeno.

The festival features talks, presentations and discussions exploring correspondence through memory, literature and contemporary themes. At the heart of the event is the Vittoria Aganoor Pompilj Prize, dedicated to promoting the art of letter writing.

The prize includes an Adult Section, reserved for published collections of letters, correspondence and epistolary biographies, and a Youth Section, open to participants aged 12 to 18, who are invited to express themselves through letters and personal writing.

All events are free to attend and accessible without reservation, subject to venue capacity.
