Festival della Malinconia 2026
The Festival della Malinconia will take place in Perugia from November 4 to 8, with events spread across the historic center, the Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria, and the Feltrinelli bookstore. The event analyzes this state of mind by uniting different disciplines. The program opens on November 4 at 17:00 with Nicola Bressi, who investigates our connection with nature and bestial roommates. On November 5, also at 17:00, Ilaria Gaspari questions the true essence of this condition, asking whether it is simply an emotion or illness. The meetings continue on November 6 at 17:00, tackling literary classics with Giulia Corsalini and her in-depth look at the thoughts of Giacomo Leopardi. On November 7 at 17:00, the focus shifts to the visual arts and inner torments with Lorenzo Chiuchiù, who examines the noonday demon of Van Gogh. Finally, the series concludes on November 8 at 11:00 by combining poetry with seasonal cycles, thanks to Milo De Angelis and Viviana Nicodemo with a reflection focused on autumn and Baudelaire.
