On 1, 8 and 22 August, the Festival dell’Appennino presents three events across Cascia, Norcia and Vallo di Nera, combining hiking, music and local traditions in the Valnerina area.

On 1 August, an afternoon hike from Cascia leads to Roccaporena, a place closely associated with Saint Rita. The day concludes with a concert by Omar Pedrini.

On 8 August, in Norcia, participants follow part of the Benedictine Way before attending the parade of the decorated wheat-sheaf floats from the Festa del Covo di Campocavallo di Osimo, presented in Norcia for the first time.

On 22 August, Vallo di Nera hosts the concert “Arte in Bilico, Tribute to Gabriella Ferri”, performed by Linda Valori and The Gigli Project.
