On 18 October and 8 November, Campello sul Clitunno hosts the Festa dei Frantoi e dei Castelli, an event dedicated to extra virgin olive oil, working olive mills, olive-growing landscapes and local villages. The first day, Sunday 18 October, takes place in Piazza de La Bianca and includes walking and cycling routes through the olive groves, visits to olive mills, new olive oil tastings, markets with local producers, artists and craftspeople, truffle-related activities, concerts, sporting events and cultural visits. The programme also features the Trail Run dei Frantoi Aperti and the Corsa dei Frantoi, alongside activities focusing on local cuisine and olive oil production. During the day, visitors can also reach the local olive mills and visit the Tempietto sul Clitunno. On Sunday 8 November, the event moves to Castello di Pissignano Alto, where the streets and spaces of the village host a new olive oil market, producers and craftspeople, guided tastings, trekking through olive groves and woodland, activities for children, truffle experiences, castle tours, concerts and local food.
