De formae festival 2026
From 7 to 9 August, Rasiglia (Foligno) hosts the first edition of De formæ festival, an event focused on cultural debate and contemporary social change.
The theme “The Earth Is Dead. Long Live the Earth” addresses conflict, the climate crisis, freedom and the loss of shared spaces. The festival’s name refers to transformation and adaptation, also reflecting the identity of Rasiglia, a village shaped by water.
The programme includes talks, debates, workshops, installations, walks and concerts with writers, journalists, artists and activists. Topics include cultural resistance, gender-based violence, self-determination, marginalised bodies and the role of social media.
Highlights include the “Muta” exhibition, a concert by Glomarì, workshops and local walks. Events are free, although booking is required for some activities.
