Cronoscalata della Castellana 2026
In Orvieto, from 25 to 27 September, the Cronoscalata della Castellana returns for a hill climb held along the SR 79 Bis Orvietana, from San Giorgio to Colonnetta di Prodo. The approximately 6.190-kilometre course crosses the hills surrounding the tuff cliff and challenges drivers and racing cars in individual timed runs. Now in its 53rd edition, the event is part of the Italian Hill Climb Trophy and is one of Umbria’s established motor-racing fixtures.
The programme unfolds over three days: Friday is devoted to technical and sporting checks and accreditation; Saturday features the official practice sessions, including timed reconnaissance runs; Sunday is reserved for the race, followed by the final awards ceremony.
