Gubbio, in the province of Perugia, will host the second edition of Ciccia – Italy in Twenty Sausages from 16 to 18 October 2026, an event entirely dedicated to sausages, the most widespread and ancient of Italy’s cured meats. The city’s historic taverns will welcome visitors to a food and wine journey through Italy, showcasing regional culture through a wide variety of flavours.

Each Italian region will be represented by a selected butcher, offering a tasting route where visitors can sample different sausage styles, paired with local bread, regional wines and craft beers. Inside each tavern, there will also be a winery and a brewery from the corresponding region, ensuring a high-quality and authentic pairing experience.

The event will be animated by live music, concerts, street performers and activities for all ages. A market exhibition of regional products will also take place, offering the chance to take home the flavours discovered along the route.

Tastings will be available for purchase directly at the stands, with no pre-set ticket packages. Payments will be made using a rechargeable electronic wristband, which can also be purchased and topped up inside the taverns.
