In Corciano, from 8 to 16 August 2026, the 62nd edition of Agosto Corcianese takes place, a festival bringing life to the historic village with a programme dedicated to arts, literature, theatre and music. The edition confirms all traditional sections of the event, with a focus on the Franciscan centenary celebrations and on musical programming featuring guest artists and cultural proposals.

At the core of the festival is wind band music, a defining element of the event, alongside the “Umbria del cuore” salons and historical reenactments that contribute to the cultural identity of the village. The programme also continues to promote band music and composition projects, in a broader framework that looks ahead to 2027 with the International Band Competition.

Alongside the cultural activities, the programme includes initiatives linked to local traditions, such as the national historical archery competition, scheduled for 26–27 September in Corciano. Together, these elements create a widespread cultural event combining different artistic languages and shared community experiences.
