Terni Film Festival 2025

Terni, from 7 to 16 November 2025, will host the 21st edition of the Terni Film Festival – Popoli e Religioni, directed by Moni Ovadia, under the theme “The New World – Si vis pacem para pacem”. For over twenty years, the festival has been a meeting point between cinema, spirituality and intercultural dialogue, offering a reflection on the present and the ethical challenges of the future.

The 2025 edition focuses on two key topics: artificial intelligence, explored as both an opportunity and a risk for humanity, and disarmament, considered an essential step towards building peace. Through screenings, talks and debates, the festival encourages audiences to reflect on how technology and political choices shape our collective destiny.

As every year, the Terni Film Festival will feature a focus on Saint Francis of Assisi, marking the 800th anniversary of the Canticle of the Creatures, and an in-depth discussion on gender-based violence, in collaboration with Caritas – San Martino Terni Association, promoting respect and equality through the language of cinema.

Screenings and events will take place in the city’s main cultural venues: Cinema PoliteamaBCTCenacolo San Marco and Palazzo Gazzoli.

Admission is free.
