In Casacastalda, in the Municipality of Valfabbrica, from 8 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, the fifth edition of the illuminated Nativity scene returns, installed on the hillside facing the belvedere. The installation, made up of over 600 linear meters of LED lights, stands out for its impressive size and for the symbolic value it holds for the local community. The official lighting ceremony will take place on 8 December at 6:00 p.m., marking the beginning of the celebrations for the entire festive season.

The stylised design for the 2025 edition is by Marta Bazzucchi, winner of the “Nativity 2025” competition, continuing the artistic dialogue developed over the years by creators such as Lucia Ciavaglia, Elisabetta Monacelli, Silvestro Serra and Raffael Bustillos. Each edition offers a new interpretation of the Nativity, carrying forward the local tradition.

The call for submissions “Design the Nativity” for the 2026 edition will also be available on the Pro Casacastalda website for those who wish to contribute to next year’s work.
