"Universe in a gesture" is the solo exhibition that Palazzo di Primavera, in Terni, will devote to Mikhail Koulakov, major player of the Post-war's Soviet avant-garde and among founders of the Russian new abstract art.

Fifty works of big dimensions, mainly original and created starting from the 1970s, will be exhibited from September 24 to October 16. They will accompany the visitor in a path to discover in a new and original way the artist's way of processing previous experiences and the Russian tradition in its characteristic innovative and disruptive pictorial language.

This exhibition wants to be a sort of tribute to Umbria that represented for Koulakov a sort of second homeland, where he spent half of his creative life starting from 1976.
