With the project “Lessico Santo”, artist Flavio Favelli will create a live artwork inspired by the reliquaries housed in the collections of the National Archaeological Museum of Umbria in Perugia. The initiative, developed in collaboration with the Pietro Vannucci Academy of Fine Arts and the Alessandro and Tullio Seppilli Foundation, is part of the Jubilee Year, proposing a dialogue between contemporary art and devotional heritage.

Favelli’s work connects his visual research with the deeper meaning of the Jubilee, exploring through art the concepts of faith, forgiveness, and hope. The interplay between different artistic languages and eras invites reflection on the origins and spiritual significance of the Jubilee, offering the public a new perspective on the museum’s permanent collection.

The exhibition will be open to visitors from 6 June to 31 July 2025.
