Three days in an ancient village in the 15th century, an old Benedictine monastery just outside the walls of Assisi, which still evokes communion, synergy and sustainability today.
The ancient village was surrounded by vegetable gardens cultivated by sharecroppers that the monks used for the research and production of medicines.
Today the ancient "Hortuli", the tradition of apothecaries and workshops will make you live a magical stay. You will live the experience of "going for herbs" (foraging) you will walk in search of wild herbs and eaters in the company of expert storytellers who will illustrate the characteristics, recipes and harvesting techniques that do not harm nature. You will taste a special dinner based on local products that come from ancient peasant and monastic traditions. You will visit the village of Assisi in all its magnificence in a guided urban trekking route that will take you to the Eremo delle Carceri, a place of prayer for St. Francis surrounded by nature. You can relax in the Spagyric Laboratory, where expert alchemists make cocktails related to the well-being and pleasure of drinking.
