With a stunning view of hills covered in dense woodland, our farm is situated at an altitude of around 500 metres, nestled amongst olive groves, streams and forests.Serpolla covers an area of around 65 hectares and is a place of peace, strength and security that we love to share with you. Here, you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind. You’ll be surprised at just how peaceful this place is. Our water comes from one of the nearby springs, our energy from the sun, and our heating during the colder months from timber from our own woods. Whatever grows here – herbs, fruit and vegetables – tastes delicious. Wild thyme, which grows everywhere, gave the farm its name: Serpolla. The air is fragrant and crisp.

ACCOMMODATION AT THE AGRITURISMO

We are delighted to be able to offer 3 self-catering flats. Serpolla is a farmhouse built using traditional Umbrian materials, with high ceilings featuring solid timber beams and terracotta floors. The thick stone walls keep the rooms cool in summer and warm in winter. The apartments are furnished in a simple, light and high-quality style. All the furniture is made of solid wood, the mattresses are made of pure natural latex, and the walls are painted with an organic clay-based paint.Opposite the apartments is a large south-facing terrace with a fireplace. The gardens feature plenty of favourite shady spots, hammocks, swings for young and old alike, a large saltwater swimming pool and our wood-fired barrel sauna.There is satellite Wi-Fi, but no TV – just silence, birdsong and the endless greenery of the woods.
