For four generations, the Berti Agricultural Company, with its fully renovated 19th century oil mill, has dedicated itself with passion and professionalism to the production of high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil and other indigenous products. The farm extends across the green hills surrounding Perugia, in the hamlets of Olmo, Fontana and Lacugnano, with a total area of over 30 hectares with both centuries-old and young olive groves, vineyards and traditional production. Our Extra Virgin Olive Oils are produced from olives of the Agogia, Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo and Maurino varieties harvested from October onwards and processed within a few hours in our company mill, which is equipped with a new high-tech plant that allows us to keep time, oxygen and temperature under constant control, oxygen and temperature, both during pressing and kneading, and to meticulously control all factors that influence yield, polyphenols and aromas, in order to obtain quality EVO oils with the highest organoleptic and health characteristics. Storage and packaging are carried out in temperature-controlled premises at 15-17°C. The stainless steel tanks are inerted with food-grade nitrogen to safeguard the organoleptic and chemical characteristics of our EVO oils.
