From 31 October to 2 November 2025 in Città della Pieve, Zafferiamo will take place, the event that celebrates saffron and its long-standing tradition in the area. The historic centre will be transformed into a path of scents, flavours and artistic suggestions, welcoming visitors of all ages with activities centred on this precious spice.

The programme ranges from cuisine, with tastings and culinary creations that highlight the unique flavour and aroma of saffron, to art, with exhibitions and displays inspired by or created with Città della Pieve’s saffron. There will also be hands-on activities, including workshops and practical sessions to discover the secrets of cultivation and the many uses of the spice, as well as moments of entertainment, which make the festival an opportunity for sharing.
