After eight years of closure, the reopening ceremony of the Ponte delle Torri, the symbolic monument of the city of Spoleto, will be held on Saturday 7 December at 7 pm. 
Once the consolidation and restoration works have been completed, citizens and tourists will once again be able to reach the Fortilizio dei Mulini and the tour of the ducts, crossing the Ponte delle Torri.
The reopening of the Bridge of Towers will be the highlight of an afternoon full of events: at 5 p.m., the lighting of the large 13-metre Christmas Tree in Piazza Garibaldi will take place, while at 6 p.m. the Father Christmas Village in Piazza Pianciani will be inaugurated, followed by the video mapping in Piazza della Libertà.
