In Perugia, “La Grande Musica al Borgo” returns, the concert season promoted by the Associazione Borgo Sant’Antonio Porta Pesa in collaboration with A.Gi.Mus. Perugia, now in its ninth edition. The initiative is part of the city’s cultural calendar as an event dedicated to live music, with a structured program that in 2026 includes 28 concerts.

The unifying theme of the 2026 edition is the human voice, explored in its various expressive forms: from bel canto to choral music, from the Franciscan lauda to opera. The season offers a journey through different repertoires and musical languages, connecting tradition and contemporary interpretations, with the aim of presenting a broad overview of vocal expression.

Alongside the concert program, the Association expands its cultural activities with the conference series “Cultura al Centro”, held at the Oratory of Sant’Antonio Abate. The schedule of talks complements the concert season, creating opportunities for discussion and in-depth exploration of topics related to music and culture, in continuity with the identity of the project.
